About The Expert

Aloha, I’m Jason Mateo and I’m your expert event planner. My first event was in 1996 in San Francisco, Ca and since I continue to organize festivals, conferences, weddings, parties, fundraisers. As a performer, I understand the excitement around your ideas and will find creative ways to professionally present them. I enjoy providing lights to set moods, quality sound, and digital intelligence to events. In this new century, we can use modern technology to enhance our experiences. When I’m not planning events, I’m usually having fun with my kids or trying to find more ways to keep a smile on my face.

In the words of Albert Einstein, “I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious.” As a graduate student at Hawai’i Pacific University, I am happy to be involved with a variety of organizations and activities. I have been able to discover my areas of strength, as well as build applicable skill sets, by partaking in many new projects and fields of work! Expert Event Planners of Hawaii has given me an opportunity to practice utilizing social media! I am also currently excited to be a part of HPU’s Cinematic Production Society, sponsoring a student produced broadcast channel, Sea Warrior Network! This project has allowed me to learn the in’s and out’s of video production, as well as find an interest in creative editorial content and journalism. Studying communications, with a focus on advertising and public relations has allowed me to understand the importance of creating solid and compassionate relationships amongst my peers, colleagues, friends, and loved ones!

Aloha, Nicole Lemas at your service! I am a proud part of the Expert Event Planner’s ‘ohana, where your dreams are our motivation to make that special event come alive. You can find me singing a tune at karaoke, taking a drive in my bright yellow VW bug or traveling to new sights devouring the local cuisine. As an anthropology enthusiast, I bring a cultural aspect to our events where we embody the aloha spirit. I have collaborated within the educational system, non-profit organizations and musical venues. Whatever the occasion may be, as an Expert Event Planner we create moments for you to remember.
